How to prepare your evidence for the Employment Tribunal (1 month)

Once you are in the Employment Tribunal there are 3 ways to get  information from your employer using the tribunals case management powers. This page tells you about how to use the Tribunals case management powers to get the information you need from your employer and third parties.

The strength of your case lies in the quality of the evidence that you put before the employment tribunal. You cannot win your claim without the evidence to support your allegations.  Evidence can be found through a subject access or freedom of information request before filing and during your claim in the Employment Tribunal. If your claim relates to discrimination, you can also use the ACAS Questions Procedure. The most powerful tools are provided by the Employment Tribunal and this page tells you how to use them.
